stuff, with a squiggle in front

~ Getting this out of the way first: work is challenging. The good bits are very good, indeed, and I think I'm growing into a rather good kickboxing instructor. Moving on...

~ Hot tub. You guys... it's sort of awesome. Not so much on the super hot days, but pretty much every other moment it's brilliant. The jury's out as to whether it will help my psoriasis. Stress is throwing a spanner into the works, so... yeah. Moving on...

~ Not happy with myself right now, but that's mostly due to other factors. Basically no time/energy/opportunity to work out. Getting doughy and lethargic. Bleargh. Hopefully this will right itself. Mustn't grumble. Moving on...

~ Need to get off my butt and write a bio and my first review. Also need to set up my own damned blog, no matter how boring, so I can 1. have the name secured and 2. link it in said bio and sound all sorts of interesting and important. What are the odds anyone will actually click through?

~ Kitties! This really begs its own entry, but in a nutshell:  DeafKitty is much happier now that she's deaf. HT is not fond of goop being squirted into his ear, no matter that it's for his own good, and will find DIRE WAYS in which to retaliate. ClosetKitty loves the sound of ukulele, no matter how poorly it is played. OneEyedKitty is both a mighty huntress and a wee snuggleprincess.

~ But back to that ukulele bit... have about half a dozen songs under my belt. Feel free to make suggestions! Mind, if the chords are too challenging I'll cry and run away, but everything else is fair game. Personal connections are also a motivating factor: I learned 'Leaving on a Jet Plane' because my dad (a corporate pilot when we were growing up) used to sing the chorus to my sister and I before leaving for his longer trips.

~I still really, really miss my dad.

~ So as not to end on a maudlin note, I will be peeing in the TARDIS tomorrow. Pictures to come! Of the TARDIS, not the other bit.
