We have a winner!

Thanks to everyone for your input. Clearly I was quite fond of all of the choices. It's likely I'll buy another two or three as special occasions arise, but it was most helpful to see what you thought.

Now to get a cool pair of steampunk cufflinks...*




*He already has Cybermen, so they'll do in a pinch. Also: all of the steampunk cufflinks I'm seeing are mad expensive.Either that or I'm a skinflint. bah.

My husband made his own links out of old typewriter keys. They cost maybe $10 for the materials, and they're unique. I recommend looking on etsy for something similar. I also got him teeny clock-face links for about $12 one year.

Granted, I'm not sure what your idea of wicked expensive? But there's some DAMN pretty steampunk cufflinks at that link up there. I particularly like these ones and these ones, which I feel would go very well with the waistcoat. :D
