I've unearthed a loaf of pumpernickel from the depths of my freezer. It's not fit to stand on its own, but it would do well enough in a pudding of some sort. Truth be told, I'm not all that keen on bread pudding to begin with. Dazzle me, though, and I'm ready to be won over.

So. Sweet or savory? Sweet/cinnamon/chocolate/rum/dried cherry or the like v. chicken/sausage/sage/thyme/mushrooms/whateverthehell? Accompanying sauces: yea or nay?

I'm totally open here, folks. Let's go.

My only experience with bread pudding has been sweet, and it involved maple syrup.

I've only ever had bread pudding once and it was sweet and gross, so I say go savory. And now, because I'm weird, I want meatloaf for lunch. I blame you, Kel. ;p
