My body has moved past discomfort and into full out pain. Any movement at all makes it spike; even sitting utterly still is unhappy.

Pardon my language, but BUGGER!

I've got ice on the shoulder, and am sort of wishing I had stronger painkillers. I probably wouldn't take them, but it would be nice to know I had the option.

Sadly, it was nothing badass. I've been teaching a lot; I probably strained/overworked something in the upper right quadrant along the way. The bummer is that I've got four kickboxing classes in the next three days.

I know, I know. I really ought to suck it up and go the the doctor. "Don't wanna" isn't much of an excuse.

I second the doctor opinion. You don't want to make things worse by waiting, after all.

Not to make light of your pain (and I will give you a painkiller when I see you next - you can stare at it and perhaps it will help you via osmosis), but when I read that any movement at all makes your body spike, all I could picture was you suddenly morphing into James Marsters and Don getting really confused.

And before you say it, no, Marsters is NOT prettier than you.

It's a bit freaky how well you know me.
