Recipe suggestions
I'm going to a Jack and Jill shower next weekend, and I have to bring and appetizer or a dessert - I'm not certain which, as the person in charge of said festivity has not yet let me know.

Anyone have some ideas for me? I'm sure I could come up with something, but I'd love some suggestions.
I feel: sleepysleepy
I hear: 'Streets of London'

A Jack and Jill shower is a bridal shower where both bride and groom are in attendance, as opposed to just the women-folk. It's going to be a pretty casual affair.

I was actually thinking of a marble cheesecake, though mocha sounds wonderful, too. Mmmm... drooling now.

Marble is yum. I had a white chocolate cheesecake a while back..that was heavenly.

Drat! Am hungry now!
Mmmm. Cheesecake....mmmmmm!!!

I, however, am a cheesecake purist. I don't do chocolate or swirls or whatnot....I like my cheesecake to be cheesecakey and to have optional sauces to drizzle on top. Cos chocolate+cheesecake has a tendency to be too much of a good thing.

If you need a recipie for a good, basic but unique and not at all bland or boring cheesecake, I have a REALLY good one. :)

If we're talking appetizers, I'm such a slacker. I usually bring deepdish nachos or spinich dip in a bread bowl with bits of bread. I can provide recipies for both of those too, if poked repeatedly. :)

::smooches:: It's lovely to see you posting so much!

1001 appetizers
Hey, Kelly, I think I have one of those 1001 appetizers cookbooks. Would you like to see it? I'll search for it tonight. Heck, you can have it if you like.
