"Draco dormiens nunquam titillandus"
I forgot to mention this when I wrote of being on the Faire grounds last Friday. The dragon swing was still up, but swathed in tarps, completely hidden save for a single, curved foot. I crept up the hill and tickled beneath the talons. Pleased and giggly, I jogged away to the real world of lances and joust dirt.

Remember: you are crunchy and taste good with ketchup.

"That being said: well done!"

*double envy*
I love reading your discriptions of how the fair grounds must look all quiet and empty. I often thought about it when I would sit high above the joust field on those rainy days last summer.

Re: *double envy*
*hugs!* you're lovely to speak so well of my descriptions... but, as you've said, you have seen it as well.
It's pretty cool, though, to get a glimpse of the faire outside of the 'norm,' isn't it?

I liked the way it was quiet and still early summer last year when i was helping Lars build the Ice Cream booth near front gate. The grass was tall and wild. Hope we don't have rattler families living there again.
