My kitties are sneezing. I'm trying not to freak out. Not surprisingly, I'm hyper-sensitive about my kitties' health right now. Esme and HT have both been sneezing quite a bit, but I've not noticed any other symptoms of illness or distress. Well, that's not exactly true: Handsome Tom has vomited twice in the past ten days. That could be eating too quickly as he races against the girls and their encroachment upon his bowl, or it could be something dire.

Guess what I'm fearing it is.

Ugh. No kitties allowed to be sick. Not even a little.

My kitty sneezes all the time when it's cold. I find if I turn the heat up, she stops. She also stops when I get the cat carrier down for a possible trip to the vet, so I think she might be fakin' it to get some sympathy.

I'm hoping it's just a wee cold.

Pulling the cat carrier out yielded no non-sneezy results. And yes, I am dorky enough that I tried. :P

No thinking bad thoughts. What happened before is just so rare. Please don't worry about it. And if you are, just get the tests done so you stop. That kind of worry will make you sick.*hugs and positive energy*

Thank you. I suppose it's just that it's still so near. I can't help but worry, even if I know its probably nothing.

My girls sneeze and get weepy eyes starting in the fall and through most of the winter. And Topaz has FIV, so I can tend towards nervousness as well. If you are very afraid, take them to the vet, but I think they'll be fine.

I'm almost entirely sure they're fine, but I can't help fretting. I may bake more cookies and 'casually' drop by the vet's office and in a breezy, offhand manner mention the sneezing...

I really do think they're all reasonably healthy. I just want to be past the constant worry.

Willow sneezes every now and then. But then again I think it's all the dust she encounters on her midnight runs through dusty closets or playing with the water in the sinks or the water in her little kitty fountain.

It's probably nothing to worry about.

Could they be sneezing from dust? kitties do have that ability to get into those crevices that collect it, and the winter does make everything super dry. I agree with what someone else posted as well, if you are worried, have them checked out.

Big big *hugs* to you
