While I'm on a posting frenzy, let me plumb the collective knowledge of my flist: can I use a traditional SLR lens with a digital SLR? They're of the same make, if that makes any difference.

Depends on the specific model of the camera and the type of fittings it has. You can with some, not with others. It should say in the camera manual which lenses will work and which won't.

Sometimes! I've had it work and not work. I've also been able to use someone's lens, but not had my lens work for them...

Often, yes - depends on the models. For instance, I am able to use my Canon EOS Elan II lenses on my Canon EOS Digital Rebel.

Off topic love, but Don said he thought you guys were coming to the wedding but needed a definite answer from you. I'm finalizing the seating chart tonight and writing out the place cards. Please email me at destinyrose10@yahoo.com before tonight to let me know.
