I've made my decision: I will finish 'Breaking Dawn.' Your advice was excellent, indeed, and had there not been outside influence I believe my choice would have been to abandon the book entirely. Said outside influence came in the form of a fellow ex-bookseller who pretty much told me I had to finish reading so we could discuss. And by discuss I mean cackle and exclaim and look for teensy tiny nuggets of sense and/or merit in a very strange and uneven tale.

Less than two hundred pages to go. Renesemee continues freaky. Bella continues breathtakingly, perfectly exquisite. Likewise Edward and any/all other vamps. Also, what up with all the sun in Forks? Didn't the Cullens move there because it was usually overcast? Suddenly, it's all sunshine all the time. Sunshine and ponies. Only with less ponies, 'cause the Cullens would probably hunt them.

In non-book news: when one has an appointment with a certain physician that is merely a follow up to some simple tests, one does not expect to be doing much more than sitting in a chair, hearing the results and nodding. One does not expect to have to strip down and be poked at. One would have shaved one's legs, or taken a few moments to freshen up prior to arriving at the physician's office.

While I was waiting for the physician to come back into the room, though, I amused myself by trying to do the Dr. Horrible dancey-fingers. *points to icon*
