So. I was over at Television Without Pity reading the rather brilliant Jacob's recap of Doctor Who, Season Four, and lo! this gem:

"It's not a joke. Your only duty in this lifetime is to be magnificent. Or, as John Green (possibly the most charming man in the world but definitely the best YA writer) would say: "Don't Forget To Be Awesome." That's not God's problem. And it's certainly not the Doctor's. Any second you let go by without being awesome is a second you've wasted, and you can't ever get it back."

I feel: bouncybouncy

The beauty of Season Four - and the heartbreak - is that the companion, Donna, is us. And the thing is, she gets to meet the Doctor, to travel with him, to see all these wonders...

we'll never get that chance. But the most important part of her story is that she never needed the Doctor to be as wonderful as she is. She just needed to stop hiding in the workaday and the commonplace, which - ugh - I totally do. I let fear and complacency rule my every step.

So, yeah... I know. I totaally know.
