It's a snowy/rainy/icebound kind of day. Tree branches are falling at an alarming rate. I'm stuck inside. Laundry is under way. Cookies will be baked, but I'm waiting for the butter to soften. What's a girl to do to keep herself amused in the meanwhile?

I know!

Zinda likes climbing in boxes. So what if they're not quite the right size?

In case you thought she might have grown out of her crazy-eyes:

I'm still working on getting good shots of Esme. Kitteh does not make things easy. Here, she's all relaxed and melty in the heat of the fire. Note how she's all snuggled up to Isabeau, and how Isabeau is determinedly ignoring that fact. "If I can't see her, she's not really there."

This one just begs for a monocle. And doesn't she look particularly meerkatish? A meerkat in want of a monocle: that's my Esme.

Ah, here's my pretty girl!

Oh! The kitty-cuteness! It's almost too much to bear!

I'm jealous of your trapped-insideness. I was hoping to share your fate, so that I could finish the final mix of Jump Start, but it was not to be... by the time I left for the train, it was quite anti-climactically raining.

See you at Rick Nestler's show on Sunday! :)
