the scavenger hunt...
... in my pants!

Okay. I'm a moderately intelligent person. Mind, my store of knowledge may be more attuned to the DCU and teen fiction and comparative mythology, but still.. I'm sort of smart.

Here's the thing, though: when it comes to the brotherhood2.0 scavenger hunt, I'm at an utter loss. I watch the daily vlog, note the clue (if I can spot it, which, frankly? is rare) and go to see what the word is in My Pants, only to find that twenty minutes have passed since the video aired and there are already at least thirteen pages of discourse about the most recent clue.

Thirteen pages!

While I know my brain doesn't bend so much to anything remotely resembling logic and reasoning, I still feel unbelievably... well, stupid. Sorry: stoopid.

Once upon a time I would have told you I was smart, comparatively well read and reasonably clever. Now? Not so sure. meep!!!!

Also, I fail at anagramming.

erm... the point of this post is that if you're not watching brotherhood 2.0, you really should be. And don't forget to be awesome.

those 13 pages are made up of a lot of different people, some of whom are saying the same thing as eachother.

Personaly I just read the summary.

randomly, and having nothing whatsoever to do with the subject at hand, last night I dreamed that I drove across the country to visit you. It wasn't until I was rounding the bend leading to your house that I'd forgotten to call and tell you I was coming - you were very startled when you opened the door, and then we baked bread.

So yes. Hi. I ♥ you, clear down to my subconscious.

Oh, fear not. I'm pretty logical, and I fail at the Scavanger Hunt, too. I just sort of stopped trying. :(

I'm not good at anagrams either, but if that's a regular part of this, you can cheat use a tool to speed things up.

Like this one: http://www.ssynth.co.uk/~gay/anagram.html :)

I know exactly how you feel, the scavenger hunt is making me feel so stupid :(. And I am seriously the worst anagramer ever, even after someone tells me some thing anagrams to something else, I can't remember what it goes to. Like the presidential anagraming video. I remember that one person anagrams to "I need job!" and one is "R not my time" but I can't tell you who it is.

I was *all about* the scavenger hunt last weekend....and then I realized that I had devoted hours to trying to crack the anagrams and updating/rereading the forum pages and hadn't done a bit of homework. So for now I'll just leave it to others who actually *can* afford to waste their time this way, and if I find out something is hidden somewhere in Minnesota, I'll do my best to retrieve it/help out.

If I try and point this computer at a b2.0 video it will probably die and think I'm torturing it. (which is to say, my laptop thinks almost anything is torture these days). I've been trying to remember to watch at work before anyone else gets there, but that usually means watching several days at once. Largely because of time difference compared with posting time.

So, instead, there is a scavenger hunt, of sorts, in my Nano.

Those people over in my pants post rediculously fast. I try to keep up but it's really hard. It's fun to throwing random things out there and see what people get out of them.

i just wait until the next day and read the summary.

So much easier.
