Egads, but I'm utterly exhausted.

Dad update: what I said yesterday may or may not be the accurate diagnosis. *facepalm* The two specialists who can do the angiogram at HH are unavailable; since nothing can be done without that information, Dad is being moved yet again, this time to Yale/New Haven. In the meantime, he still has to kept ready for surgery at any moment, just in case, so he's still NPO.* Yesterday he was rather plaintively saying how much he just wanted a sandwich, or a cup of ginger ale, so in addition to everything else he's bound to be a Very Grumpy Dad. Oh, and they'll be doing another CT scan.

I cleaned my house today, and did laundry and grocery shopping and watched the DVD commentary on the special edition of 'Serenity' (but I was dusting and sweeping and folding clean clothes all the while, so it wasn't wasted time). Now to make dinner and change the bed linens and clean some more. Busy is good.

*oh, the things I'm learning. yesterday's lesson was in different types of cerebral aneurysms; today's was what NPO actually stands for (even though I already knew what it meant) and that my mom's Naval background still stands her in good stead.**

**in describing the situation with the absent specialists and the necessity of moving Dad again, my lovely, sweet-spoken and articulate mother used the word "clusterfuck." I &hearts my mom.
I feel: tiredso, so weary

If I weren't with my mom, I would completely take you up on this. Thanks all the same; it means a lot!

Thoughts and prayers continue.

Busy is good. Control what you can so that you can cope with what you can't control.
