Say what you will, Martha Stewart and Rachael Ray know their stuff.

Thanks to the former, tonight I prepared a kick-ass dinner of chicken breasts with mustard sauce, fresh baby spinach and roasted veggies. The latter gave me the inspiration for last night's sesame-crusted red snapper, which I served with cous cous and sauteed mushrooms as well as a tossed salad.


I'm a good cook, thank you very much, but I love getting ideas from those who know a hell of a lot more than I do.

I admit to watching 30 minute meals and $40/day with Rachael Ray. Sometimes there are some great things. She went to a place by me that I love for brunch on $40/day once that I didn't know served brunch and it was amazing. Went there with Julia the next week!

Although I have to say, I am deeply shocked at how bad she tips when she adds up her totals.
