So. How is everyone doing?

I've not updated much of late because I'm trying not to be negative and self-loathing.

Will get back to you all when there is something interesting to impart.

I'm actually pretty good. School is well. I've been seeing all the exhibits I want to. Most of the time am content that I don't have a significant other to distract me. I have friends who make me laugh. And Last Friday Charles Vess invited me and my girls to Virginia in Sept. for a music Festival- so I'm still giddy from that.

I only wish I had a new Kelly Kilcoyne story to read and make me want to draw pretty things. I am STILL thinking on images inspired by Mad Gen- but I feel I need to get a little better before doing that one justice. ;)

Hugs to you dear. It's just the winter blues- everyone's in the underworld these days.

You sound as if you are thriving, and good for you! I stand in awe of your talent. Admittedly, I'm astoundingly envious of the Vess invite, but...

you make me want to write another story. If it is not entirely atrocious, I may send it on to you to do with what you will.

apologies for the surfeit of adverbs. yeesh.

Squee! You would make me happier than a snowman in Alaska if you wrote another yummy story. Especially if has lots of cool creatures. ;)

NOW...So far it's just us 3 girls- so if you aren't too spent after fair, and it is still a plan (because I think we're going down the weekend of Sept. 17th) would you be interested in joining us for the road trip? I bet Charles would love you, I know I would be delighted.

Woohoo! I shall set my brain to simmer, then.

I think Faire is still going on that weekend, but if I'm not doing it (I still haven't decided), I would LOVE to go! Talk about SQUEE!

Story idea now simmering. It is a bit derivative of DeLint's Newford stories, but... meh. So be it!

I LOVE DeLint. (of course) anything Delinty in nature will be a joy. The whole idea of incorporating old tales into modern day just sends my mind a spinning.
