serious Oracle

(no subject)

At the last minute, I found out that I didn't have to cover tonight's 5:15. Surely that was a sign I ought to take the class. Despite several months' worth of whinging about being out of shape and promising - no, really for really reals this time! - that I'd be making an effort to attend CKO classes two or three times a week, I've failed to follow through. Shocking! I'm not going to be so foolish as to swear that this has set me back on the path of Exercise Righteousness. Still, it was a great class, even if the instructor did have to leave early to take care of her poor, flu-ridden son (I ended up running the ab exercises). I was exhausted, drenched with sweat (it was dripping off of my bangs, my elbows... my wrists were sweating, for pity's sake!) and gasping for breath, but I felt fantastic.

Weather permitting, I'm running outside tomorrow; my last two sessions have been on the treadmill, and it's just not the same. Thursday is weight training and maybe yoga. I'll run Friday, kickbox Saturday and take Sunday off (well, aside from teaching).

For really reals.
