serious Oracle

I will write those gorram School Days scenes.

I will get a good minor amount of packing done.

I will throw out crap that I really, truly do not need. (I did so, within the wee amount of packing done)

I will weed through clothing that no longer fits/is worn to tatters/has been packed away and not touched for over a year.

I will work out.

I will go for a run (indoors or out, it matters not)

I will begin making a list of the various places I need to notify of my impending address change.

~So it is written, so it shall be done.

Sweet Merciful Crap!

I've always known I had a lot of books. Heck, I've been working at a bookstore for years, which only feeds my desire and ability to purchase far more books than I need.

I thought I was doing pretty well, though. We gave a few boxes worth to the library, and I sold six shopping bagsful back to my store.

How is it, then, that I have twelve large boxes of books sitting in my hallway? I've not even finished boxing the contents of the living room or office bookshelves, nor touched my cookbooks. AND there are at least half a dozen boxes in the basement.

Have I mentioned the house we're moving into is wee?

Oh, woe, alas! What am I to do?

"Hey Don, here's an idea: let's not get a new sofa. Let's just stack books creatively and add a few throw pillows. Yes?"
