serious Oracle

(no subject)

A group of friends gathered at my dining room table last night to read Don's screenplay. It's good. It's really, really good. I am so proud of him, and so envious of his talent!

I just listened to an interview with Jane Yolen on NPR, regarding 'The Radiation Sonnets,' written -one each day- during the course of her husband's radiation treatment. She read three of them in the time I was listening. Beautiful, painful, heartbreaking.

I'm going to go get on the treadmill now. Watch an episode of Vicar of Dibley, perhaps, and then do about seven thousand crunches. I'm tired of being jiggly.

My husband just installed OSX Panther on our computer. I can now begin putting music on my lovely, lovely iPod. The look of the screen and the additional features will take some getting used to, but I'm looking forward to the process.

yay, yay, yay!

yet another one:
to have interesting enough lj entries for possible responses.

I hate that I'm so blasted dull.

*as an aside-this isn't helping, kel. still dull!*
