SG-1
Okay. I'm officially hooked, no big surprise there. But, watching so many eps, so close together, one begins to notice certain things...

And so is born the SG-1 drinking game, my way. Yes, I know there are other lists out there. I'm only part way into season 2, though, so this will grow as my viewing of the eps does.

Drink when:

Anyone says "Oh my God!"

There is a reaction shot of Teal'c raising a single eyebrow.

Someone (most likely Dr. Frazer) says "I think you should see this" or "Take a look at this."

Someone (and it will probably be Sam) says "With all due respect, sir..."

Bonus points if you can find the magic moment in each episode wherein you can insert the phrase "Now we are married."

I am so loving this show!

How about those rare moments Jack calls Daniel "Danny"?

Or when Jacob (met him yet?) calls Daniel "Danny"? (Does it more frequently per number of episodes he's in than Jack, actually.)

OR OR OR every time Jack or Daniel falls in luuuurve.

Or if you want to get really drunk and you watch a whole bunch side by side, every time Jack makes a reference to a movie or TV show.

Only just met him (Jacob)... have seen at least one instance, though, wherein Jack calls Daniel 'Danny.'

And, of course, 'Space Monkey.' Which makes me snort with glee.

"Spacemonkey" was absolutely adorable. Daniel picks up a fair few nicknames throughout the series, mostly by Jack- "Dannyboy," I think "Glowboy" though that might be my imagination... some others I don't remember...

Jacob is cool. He's more in the series later. For certain reasons. And there's this double episode in season 5 that has Daniel and Jacob working together, and Jacob calls him "Danny" pretty often, I believe.

Oh, and your comment about "Now we are married."? I find myself wondering what two characters it is most often inserted between. Sam&Jack, Jack&Daniel, and Hammond&various people spring to mind.

Actually, 'now we are married' usually arises when there is interaction between alien species and SG-1. It all began, for Don and I, when Jack ate the flower pizza in 'Brief Candle.' And we ran with it from there. 'Cause we're dopey and have way too much fun watching this show...

Oh! I can totally see that. ::grin::

Oh, man. You've just opened up a whole new world of possible meanings.

Haha. The flower pizza. That episode makes me go "STD!" every time I watch it. And no, I don't think it's significant that the stuff was able to get through rubber and maybe Jack was prepared after all. Mmf.

Oh. Eeep. Never made the connection between the crumbling rubber gloves... ::snicker::

Especially for the first couple seasons, you can add "The natives react to the arival of the stargate team by standing still and staring with expressions of intense shock and awe."

Even if you just played with the Teal'c/eyebrow thing, you'd be completely trashed. <3
