stuff
~It was 'bring a friend to lunch' day at my nephew's school. The cafeteria food was pretty much what I expected. At least the company was good.

~Went for another three mile run. Each time I go, I hate it a wee bit less, though I don't expect that trend to continue as the weather gets colder.

~I really need better running shoes, as well as a watch or some other thingy to track my time. Carrying my phone with me is simply not feasible.

~I don't really miss Maria from SJA, though she was pretty great. I do, however, miss her dad. *points to icon* He was adorable.

~PEGASUS finally kicked into gear. I am bitterly resentful of having to do anything other than read. Stupid work. Stupid laundry. Stupid grocery shopping and doctor's appointment and running.

~Coming home from the Prom party Sat. night, we realized my mom's garage door opener was gone. She had to come down and let us back in, and while she laughed it off I felt terrible. Yesterday, the guy who hosted the party posted on FB that he'd found a garage opener while blowing leaves. He's mailing it to my mom; I will be sending him cookies.

~Prom party was ridiculously fun. Did I mention I got a tiara? 'cause I did. With purple stones. I am wearing it right now. Or I would be if it weren't still in the car. I like to drive with it on.

~Still grinning over the theatre reunion, too. Mostly because there was an English Sheepdog and ridiculous Missy-related shenanigans.

~awomanthatsblue has put me in mind of doing NaNo. I have no story idea at all, but I've written sod all this year. And last year. If nothing else, NaNo could be a useful tool against crippling inertia.

~I have poblanos. I have brown rice. I have leftover chicken chili. I have dinner.

I feel like inconveniencing your mom is very appropriate for a prom-themed night. My Junior prom, my dad had to drive out in the middle of the night to get me-- even though my date could drive-- because said date had to leave post-prom early, and no, you can't LEAVE post-prom early unless a parent signs you out.

I'd totally drive with a purple stone tiara on my head, too. It would match my car!
