Our mini freezer died. Rather, the outlet it was plugged into mysteriously stopped working. I discovered this when I went to fetch a Trader Joe's veggie lasagna only to find it, like everything else in the freezer, fully thawed. Into the trash when about half a large bag's worth of ruined food, and onto the phone went I to place our (roughly) biannual call to the electricians.

I've talked about the electricians before, but every time they come to the house I feel compelled to mention them again. They're wonderful. I don't know why I'm so taken by a husband and wife electrician team, but there it is. Part of it, certainly, is that they're lovely people. Part of it is that they have a great sense of humor. An enormous part of it is that they do thoroughly excellent work for a very reasonable price.

I'm not saying I look forward to the next electrical malfunction, but at least there will be another visit from Jim and Tooney when it happens.

p.s. the problem might have been mice. which reminds me: POST ABOUT THE MICE!
