I've never really wanted a tattoo. In fact, thanks to my brilliant skin condition, I can't get one. Nonetheless, I've been thinking on it of late. Were the skin not an issue, I just might go for it. Once upon a time, I would've gone with my joust emblem.* Now, I'd go for a stylized cardinal.** That's right; book geeks are cool.

*sad to say, that's still a bit too ouchy.

If I lose the weight I want and flatten my tummy a bit - I'm dying to get a crescent moon and stars around my belly button!

I would love either this:

or the center part of this:

on my left shoulder blade. We'll see if I still feel the same way when I'm a little more grown up and a little less "whee, subversive teenager!"

I get an urge or an inspiration every now and then but...

1. Ouch.
2. I know better than to think I could decide on anything I would want forever and not change my mind and want something else in the future.

P.S. I haz de yarn...

It's been raining pretty steadily here for the past few days and the world has (finally, finally) been turning green. The damp, green, heavy atmosphere here gave me a craving for those books, so I've just read the first few chapters of the first book... the copies you sent me, in fact, though they're getting a bit worn. In case I never thanked you for introducing me to those books... THANK YOU. <3

Book geeks are cool. If I ever got a tattoo, it would be between a purple spiral on the back of my hip and the line "love as thou wilt" on the inside of my left wriist in white.
