My brain is mush. So, snippets:

~Watching a sixteen pound, heavily muscled tomcat pounce on a bit of string is beyond adorable. More on this later.

~Merlin is a bit ridiculous. It is also cracktastic (cracktaculous!*). I blame decent fight choreography, Anthony Head and Colin Morgan's smile.

~NY Comic Con tomorrow! I wish I wasn't so bloated and icky.

~The Underneath is a beautiful book. The writing is gorgeous, as is the mythology woven into the contemporary thread of the story. But there are a couple of scenes that were devastating. Maybe I'm the world's biggest wuss, but I don't think I can reread this one.

~It's cold. I know it's not Canada or Antarctica cold, but for our neck of the woods? Cold.

~We're only in the planning stages and yet I'm already overwhelmed by The Project.

*relevant only to those who saw the most recent episode of 'How I Met Your Mother.' I am the master of the possimipible.

Re: Merlin - While i haven't seen it (and i'm sure i will and i'm sure i will adore it either way) might have repo-genetic opera's disease - movie/mini-series/tv show - all made better by just a smattering of Anthony Stewart Head!

Dan ALMOST went to NY Comic-Con spur of the moment (it ended up being too expensive in travel costs) -- I knew that I knew people who were going to be there! :)

You and I simply must end up at the same place at some point!

There's always next year!

You and I simply must end up at the same place at some point!

We really must. :)

I always wanted to mention that if a washington DC crash spot would ever things make you more cheap for you, you should let me know you --- I would be super glad to let you stay here!!!

Ah, more drunken commenting by me... I really must figure out some way to lock out the internet when I have had too much to drink!

I was intending to offer a spot to crash in DC if ever your travels took you this way. I think if you look for key words, you can sort of pull that meaning from my terribly mis-mashed comment...

Just so you know, your posts made me giggle. I've drunk-commented myself, though I think you were far more coherent than I. Seriously.

And you'd better believe I'll take you up on the crash space offer, should the need arise! *smooch* I suspect we'd have a fantastic time hanging out together.

I also loved the Underneath. I was also so saddened by some of the story. I was going to share it with my 10 year old niece but was afraid she would be too upset at the animals dying. But so well written!
