I should be sleeping. I have to be up in four and a half hours. Trouble is, I'm bouncy and wired and ever so far from the mere idea of sleeping.

Instead, I'm slouching about google trying to find a Connie Willis Christmas story I read a few years ago.* I think it was in Asimov's magazine, but I'm not entirely certain. This, of course, has reminded me that I never dug through all of my boxes of books to find the printed collection of her Christmas stories. In addition, I want to reread 'All Seated on the Ground.' NOW.

But I should be sleeping.

ETA: I've printed out 'Just Like the Ones We Used To Know,' and am seriously considering doing the same with 'All Seated on the Ground.' And I still can't find the darned designer Christmas tree story. bleargh.

yetanotherETA: yay! I've found the title (deck.halls@boughs/holly), but, alas, can not find the text.

*it was about someone who did designer Christmas trees/decor. And, of course, there was a bit of the screwball comedy/falling in love to it. She may do that a lot, but she does it brilliantly, so I shan't complain. 'Spice Pogrom' still makes me all melty.

Connie Willis is amazing. She's one of my favorites.

I don't recognize any of those stories, though. Did she do a collection of Christmas stories other than "Miracle"?
