I've been a bit weepy of late. Any old thing will set me off: 'This American Life' podcasts, the kitties being adorable, Jonathan Coulton songs, the recycling not being picked up again, Pearls Before Swine strips, rain, falling leaves, mushy tomatoes, Un Lun Dun. It's most likely the time of year. Autumn, for all that I adore it, has always made me a wee bit melancholy. And then, too, this time last year Dad was in serious decline. Within a few weeks I'll probably be back to normal, but for now? I'm in a constant state of sniffle.

It probably wasn't the best idea to start re-watching Season Four of Doctor Who.

In happier, non-sniffly news, Handsome Tom's blood work came back clean.* And while he wasn't pleased with me for bundling him into a carrier and driving him away from his domain, he was happy enough to flirt with all the ladies at the vet's office. It cracks me up how they dote on him. He's got it, that boy.

*he had to be retested after his last visit to the vet.

Now don't be weepy, because I'm going to say, "Hey, I miss you girl."

(Hey, I also picked up a few "blink" icons. Really cool. I'd love to see that one again.)
Don't forget you must go with me to the farmers market.

Yeah. That made me weepy, despite your warning. :) I miss you, too. I really should stop in to the store at some point to say hi to the good people!

I'm booked the next two weekends, but after that, just tell me which Sunday you'd like to go!

We must chat about DW some time. I cried at the end of S4.

Did you see the picture of me dressed up as the Doctor for cast party?

I had that last year when my mom was back in the hospital (even though there was NO danger by that time) and I was thinking about moving away. I cried at everything and nothing. The best advice I got was "It's okay. Go cry."

*hugs and love*

I too have been weepy as of late so maybe one night we can be weepy over drinks the size of our heads. :)
