Umm... how did I not know about Jonathan Coulton? Surely one of you ought to have mentioned him to me.

*folds arms*

I'm not angry. I'm just disappointed.

Seriously, though... if I were to go on a wee iTunes spree, what should I get?

and if anyone was wondering, this is the song that made me want to hear more. Also, this.

Re: Your Brains, Skullcrusher Mountain, Curl, Chiron Beta Prime, Dance Soterios Johnson Dance, Code Monkey, The Future Soon, and Baby Got Back are my favorites of his, although Space Doggity is fantastic and made me a little weepy. (It's dogs. Dogs always get me. I cried in Airbud. Stop looking at me like that.) I can upload any of those for you if you want, also.

Also, I would like to state for the record that I'm relatively certain that each of my music uploads has had a JoCo song on it.

Yay! I'm listening to Skullcrusher Mountain right now, and it's clear I need that song. Oh, dear heavens. Anything you want to share is cool. I'll end up buying some, too, 'cause I want to support this guy.

Space Doggity made me weepy, too. Oh! Speaking of doggy songs that make me weepy, I should upload Jez Lowe's 'Aloyisius' for you.

But I thought surely you knew!
Space Doggity also made me weepy; y'all shouldn't feel bad. But I was weepy from the moment I knew Laika was the inspiration; Laika's story always makes me cry.

Anyway, in addition to the songs mentioned by others, "I'm Your Moon," "Tom Cruise Crazy," "A Talk With George," "Shop Vac."

Oh, hell, buy his entire oevure. It's worth it.

My favorites are Re: Your Brains, Curl, and The Presidents, and Dance Soterious Johnson Dance is also a good time. I found out about that one after John Green used it in a video, actually!

'Cast Your Fate to the Wind' by George Winston. It's beautiful and inspiring. You could write some beautiful words just listening to this piece. The original, by Vince Guaraldi, is more jazzy if you like that. Sample them both, see what you think.

Cheers.
