I know this will come as a shock to y'all, but I worry over my abilities as a kickboxing instructor. Do I make the class challenging enough? And if it is challenging enough, is it still fun? Are people bored? Can they tell when I'm so completely knackered I haven't a clue as to what I'm doing? Why do I lose all sense of Right and Left when I'm teaching? And why does anatomy go all hinky? Seriously. Elbows are knees and ankles are shoulders and hips are - I don't know - phalanges. I can't keep it straight.

Tonight was a bit of a slog. ugh.

Also, I haven't seen Handsome Tom in two days. And my morning glories aren't doing all that well. And Esme's fey eye is all weepy. And I had a horrible dream about my dad two nights past and I'm still not over it. And I can't stop thinking about the orphaned raccoons.

But, despite the chill temperatures and incessant freakin' rain, my herbs are doing beautifully. My battered columbine is on the road to recovery and my delphiniums are starting to bud. I almost fit into my smallest jeans. The new Percy Jackson book is wonderful. Esme's weepy fey eye hasn't quashed her adorableness. It's spring.

Kel, I am sure you are Kick Ass.
I say this because I can relate to (what I imagine is) the constant monologue of "IsuckIsuckIsuckIsuckIsuckIsuckIsuck" that is pretty much always running through your mind.
I regularly try to talk myself into thinking that ANY success I enjoy is do to an accident or some other quirk of fate.
But rationally, I think we probably just plain ol' rock. (c:

Weird, I had a dream last night and my dad was in it- we were fishing or something, it wasn't alltogether unpleasant- we caught a dogfish- it had the head of a large wolf like canine....

as for the kix class...just go with the flow, a lot of times it's improv around a framework of exercises. try teaching a class to six year olds, that's like herding hamsters!
